Pavers have properties of soft clay with a thin baked layer called the patina. Pavers stain and wear very easily if not sealed and maintained. The surface is uneven and the color of each paver ranges from yellow to peach to red and brown. Once the patina has been damaged it cannot be restored without replacement. However, we can give your worn pavers an appearance to be proud of. The sealers and finishes are a temporary coating on a permanent surface and will need to be maintained over the years to keep them looking and performing their best.
We recommend a sealer for stain resistance and a surface finish to protect against physical wear on the paver surface. If permanent damage has occurred we may be able to color stain your pavers to cover the area. The typical pavers will require 2-4 coats of finish for an even appearance. This depends on type of paver and products used.
